Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support our day-to-day operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate documentation, smooth communication between departments, and the timely flow of freight-related data. You’ll work closely with dispatch, accounting, and safety to support invoicing, ticket entry, internal reporting, and QuickBooks workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support dispatch and admin operations with daily load tracking, driver communication, and ticket validation
  • Enter and reconcile invoices and payments in QuickBooks
  • Manage internal logs and reports using Excel (filters, formulas, formatting)
  • Respond to customer and driver emails with professionalism and clarity
  • Help maintain accurate records, filing systems, and task calendars
  • Collaborate with office staff to ensure paperwork is processed on time
  • Translate and communicate with Spanish-speaking drivers and vendors


Qualifications:

  • QuickBooks experience required (AP, AR, or invoice entry)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, multitasking office environments
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, not required
  • Confident computer skills and strong email etiquette
  • Transportation/logistics experience is a plus
