Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and equipment—specifically end frames, motors, and trailers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diesel systems and a proactive, safety-first approach to shop work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, end frames, and trailer components
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
• Work closely with dispatch and shop leads to prioritize repairs
• Identify worn or faulty parts and perform replacements
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Experience with end frame motor rebuilds and diagnostics
• Must own a set of tools
• Comfortable working in a shop and outdoor environment
• CDL a plus but not required
• Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
